As one of the entertainment industry’s leading broadcast designers and branding strategists, Linda Kane Hitchcock has held senior positions at CBS, Warner Bros. and CBS Sports including supervisory positions at the Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France, Lillehammer, Norway and Nagano, Japan.

Ms. Kane Hitchcock’s background includes expansive visual branding / strategy projects for NBC Nightly News, MSNBC, The WB Television Network, CBS Sports, ABC Network, Universal Studios, HGTV, ESPN, Buena Vista Television, the L.A. Clippers, and the re-launch of the Cleveland Browns.

On these projects, she executed pitch, creative direction and final delivery of comprehensive on-air packages, film shoots, promotional campaigns, print, outdoor, set design and custom music.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Ms. Kane Hitchcock has been distinguished with over 70 awards, including 9 Emmys® for Art Direction, BDA Gold, Promax Gold, named one of the 15 Most Influential Designers by the Broadcast Designers Association and was first recipient of the Quantel Special Achievement Award.

Ms. Kane Hitchcock has completed station redesigns for KTLA Los Angeles (2x), WBBM Chicago (2x), CLTV Chicago, KRON San Francisco, WBDC Washington, DC, WKYC Cleveland, KHOU Houston and KSWB San Diego, a comprehensive network redesign of MSNBC and the launch of two channels in China, POP (Beijing) and Business Channel (Hong Kong)

In addition to broadcast and branding work, Ms. Kane Hitchcock served as Chief Creative, Director and Executive Producer on a documentary series about 70’s and 80’s Formula 1 racing. The series, VF1, featured interviews with racing legends Mario Andretti, Emerson Fittipaldi, Alan Jones, John Surtees, John Watson and Max Mosley on location in Monaco, Mexico, Canada and across the US.

Ms. Kane Hitchcock was co-founder of kidthing®, a proprietary technology platform for children with proud partners – Dr. Seuss Enterprises, National Geographic, Penguin Young Readers, Harper Collins, and more.

During her tenure at kidthing®, Ms. Kane Hitchcock served as Chief Creative Officer and Board Member.
